BLOGMAS: The Best Of Christmas

I love Christmas, everything about it... but here is my top picks, everything I love about the festive period!

1. The Elf on the Shelf
This year AJ has named him Billy, he hasn't been overly busy - because I am a terrible parent who lacks in ideas and constantly forgets to move him!

2. Costa/Starbucks Cups
Coffee shops are just 10x better over Christmas, with their Christmas puddings and flavourings, it is a definite win for me - but I must admit my favourite thing is the cups - they are fab! But which ones are better? Costa or Starbucks?

3. My Tacky Decorations
Blogging has so many cliches, and so many I have willingly taken on, but my tree remains tacky... colourful and garish... and I don't think I would have it any other way.. I have just loved having it up in my house, I love the ducks on it - and my crocodile, Disney princesses and the penguin on the top.

4. Christmas Movies
AJ & I have been watching a fair few, so far our favourites are The Grinch, The Santa Clause, Elf & Home Alone. I love all Christmas movies, but I haven't watched Love Actually yet this year - and that is on my to do list for today!

5. Mince Pies
ALL THE MINCE PIES. Tesco Finest ones are incredible.

6. Vlogmas/Blogmas
Nothing screams Christmas more when it comes to online is blogmas, or vlogmas, snaps etc, just watching others be all festive... my favourites are LilyPebbes & Lizzy Hadfield.

7. Hot Chocolate
Ever since my work has installed the kitchens I have been obsessed with Cadbury's hot chocolate. I have been drinking it in bed at night with the TV on - it's been fab. Even better when I put Bailey's in it... at home obviously lol

8. Christmas Jumpers
I am so glad that Christmas Jumpers are now a thing - I have always had a horrible jumper obsession, and now that everyone does it for a month - I am totally ok with that!

9. Keeping Cosy
I love heating, PJ's, hot water bottles, dressing gowns & big fluffy socks. All at once. COSY!
My favourite this year has to be these beauties from Chatty Feet* T when I seen the matching family sets well I love them... AJ loves them.. These ones are their Vincent Van TOE, how fab. They would make one incredible gift - and don't worry they come in single sets too.

What I didn't realise is that I have a 5 year old who is impossible to keep still or keep clean, hence the  state of the following photo, but I hope it gives you all a giggle, children are mucky!

10. Santa & Gifts
The best thing without a doubt as a parent is watching your child believe so fully in magic and Christmas, there has been so many times I wished magic was real, and for him it is. I love being a part of that, helping him to love and enjoy it as much as I did as a child.

What is your favourite part of Christmas? Let me know in the comments below :)

  3. I feel like I miss out on lots of fun christmas stuff by living in Australia and having christmas in the summer. Christmas jumpers, hot chocolate and being cosey aren't really possible here haha. I mean out weather is definitely not consistent it's constantly either nice and cool or boiling hot but we can't do those fun thing people do when christmas is in cold weather.
