New foundation is always a scary and exciting moment, especially when you have an oily AF nose like me, add that combo in with glasses it is a wonder any foundation even begins to hang on.

So when a few of the big YouTubers were saying the new YSL all hours foundation is perfect for those with oily skin and love full coverage, well I was ALL for it. *runs to Debenhams to buy it*

First Impressions:

YSL All Hours Liquid Foundation has you covered for endless nights: own the night and the day with a matte foundation for a flawless complexion, which stays put for up to 24 hours. A rich level of fine pigments means full coverage with a flawless, even finish, without a mask-like effect. The high coverage foundation’s innovative formula is waterproof and transfer-resistant, with no compromise on comfort and no need to touch up.

The finish of the foundation is definitely matte. But for a full coverage foundation I prefer a matte finish to help deal with the oil control. I'm really not sure if it would last for 24 hours, but on application this does leave skin looking completely flawless, which is stunning.

The Results:
I have no idea what really ended up happening this day, my nose as usual was oily, but the tip of it was dry. WHY. So yeah, not the cutest. But after 10 hours of wear I am lucky to have any foundation around my t-zone left at all, so the fact that this is still on my nose is an overall winner.

I should also mention here that I do not touch up - at all. No powder, no nothing. This is just 10 hours of wear right there... in one hideous photo.

Overall, I have been using this now for 3-4 weeks and really enjoying it. The finish is stunning and it's so easy to work with. I can rely on it to last all day, and stand through my busy schedule. Is it better than the Lancome Teint Idole Ultra Wear? Maybe thats a story for another post ;) But it's definitely a contender.
