Vichy Staple Products (You Need in your Routine)

Vichy has a special place in my heart now, they were the first brand to ever contact me. Back in April 2016. It feels so long ago now, especially in blog terms - I feel like I have moved on so far from then, but at the same time my thoughts and feelings of their line up haven't changed at all.

They recently contacted me once more to top up my Dermablend stash, and to try out their new powder compact foundation. They also included a skincare goodie to try too!

Dermablend Setting Powder £18.00 £13.50

Dermablend Setting Powder ensures a water and smudge-resistant finish, and is specifically formulated to prolong the wearability of Dermablend foundations. Its microfine texture is translucent upon application so it doesn't affect the chosen shade of corrective foundation, and it provides a matte and natural looking finish

I love this setting powder it's incredible. I don't use any other one, this is the only thing I use to bake with. Under the eyes this is a dream. This has featured in lots of posts on MakeErinOver, and this will remain a favourite for when I am going all out - baking and all! :)

Dermablend Corrective Fluid Foundation, high coverage, long-hold foundation for minor to moderate skin concerns including spots, blemishes & acne, dark circles, redness, vitiligo, rosacea, scars and tattoos

This is such a stunning foundation for everyday use. I had completely forgotten how much I had liked using it. This is my perfect slightly more tanned shade, but right now its looking fab. My Mum has also ended up loving this foundation too - it somehow manages to cover everything - but remain lightweight. It is a beautiful formula.

Vichy Dermablend’s Covermatte Powder Foundation provides up to 12 hours of full, buildable coverage with SPF 25 for minor to severe skin concerns. It creates a natural, matte finish on the skin while minimising the appearance of imperfections and leaving skin feeling soft and supple.

I tend to prefer a liquid foundation to be completely honest, then I reserve powder foundation for touching up during the day #fullcoveragelife. The formula of this is stunning, I love the finish of it. Unfortunately it isn't the right colour for me. It is just that bit too dark for my pale skin, which is disappointing - but I tend to have to drop down a shade in powders (which is common I think?)

As many as 1 in 5 adult women suffer from excess sebum, blackheads and enlarged pores, the experts at Vichy created Normaderm Anti-Blemish Care to target blemishes while providing 24 hour hydration. It is especially helpful if women experience more imperfections during their period as Normaderm Anti-Blemish Care is proven to target imperfections, including hormonal imperfections.

I have been loving trying this out. Vichy skincare is just incredible at the moment, and this is no exception. this to me is the perfect morning moisturiser. It leaves my skin feeling super hydrated without disturbing my makeup application. I love the "anti-blemish" aspect too, as someone who has teenage skin in her late 20s, it is nice to have something targeting the issues - without using products aimed at teens! My spots have definitely been less since I started using this 4 weeks ago.

Vichy Idealia Peeling £30.00 £22.50

Vichy Laboratories have combined antioxidant blueberry polyphenol with fermented black tea in this new product, to give your skin a boost of radiance. Enriched with soft peeling and natural active extracts, Idealia Peeling reactivates your natural glow when you wake up. With in-depth radiance activation & surface peeling it leaves skin refreshed and refined. The first overnight peeling care adapted to sensitive skin.

I LOVE this stuff. I am yet to see a blogger dislike this. The best, toning, nighly peeling item I have used, and I have been using this for months now - I just keep on going back to it. Such a staple in my routine. I love how clean it makes my skin feel. A complete winner for me.
