August Favourites 2018

August has been the best month this year, without a doubt.

I thought I would share with you my favourites from the past month, and celebrate the best month yet of my 2018.

August Skincare Saviours

How on earth is August almost over?

There goes another month down, how can it be September in a few days? Here is my favourite skincare from the past month, even if I have been a bit shit at keeping up a good routine...

Bedroom Gallery Wall With Cheerz*

I am SO happy with my bedroom vanity now, I did a full post here on the desk itself if you want to have a nosy around there... but recently I have made changes to the wall above and the team over at Cheerz very kindly allowed me to choose some prints from their site to display.

Pixi Glow Tonic Review*

The Biggest Hype of 2016 right here.

Who remembers when everyone who was anyone had to have this in their routine. It was like an entryway into the online makeup and skincare world, you just HAD to have the Pixi Glow Tonic. To the point, it was a nightmare to get a hold of. I somehow missed the hype back then. I have no idea what I was distracted by - probably glitter, it's always glitter: I am SUCH a magpie.

Life on Film #4

Life Lately...

Another spool of film down, and I am still utterly obsessed with the look it gives. So old school. So here is what we have been up to over the summer holidays! Lots of holiday snaps, and some terrible photos of me - yay! AJ was off for a full 6 weeks, and we had SUCH a good time in the sunshine. So here is everything we have been up to, that ended up on film.

Emma Hardie Moringa Cleansing Balm Review*

The Hype is REAL

There is something so incredible about finding a cleanser which not only moisturises, retains moisture and is so gentle - but can actually removes a full face of makeup too. Quite a lot either do one or the other, but the Emma Hardie Moringa Cleansing balm is definitely an all-round multitasker.

Netflix: Watching Female Comedians (AD)

Who doesn't love Binge watching Netflix?

I usually watch Netflix on my iPad or laptop, but I need to reinvest in a new TV for my livingroom.  AJ and I will cuddle up round the laptop at the moment, which just isn't as fun as a day in front of the TV. The new 4KTV Panasonic has me lusting after it. The bright colourful displays and their sleek designs have me dreaming of watching Netflix on the big screen again, something I haven't done in a while.

Origins Drink Up Intensive Overnight Mask Review

I feel like it has been such a long time since I fell head over heels in love with a product, and then this one came along. Say hello to the Origins Drink Up Intensive Overnight Mask.

M&S very kindly sent me their Best in Beauty round-up - and this was included. Needless to say, I can now understand why this was included in their best - it is just SO good!

I GOT IN! : Midwifery First Year Goals

I am still in shock... I repeatedly shake myself, like Erin: You freaking DID IT!

Just in case you missed the hype over on Instagram, Twitter and Facebook. I got into University on Tuesday. I got 3 A's at higher, and completely smashed my university conditions. So I will be studying Midwifery at Robert Gordon University in Aberdeen, YAY.

If you want to learn about my life as a Mature, Single Parent Learner you can read about that here

So, for the next 3 years, my life will continue on in chaos, but the best kind of chaos. One where I am working towards what I want to do, something I have wanted to do for such a long time. So I thought I would write up a wish list of everything I want to do in the next year, and hopefully, by then I will have a full list of new things to replace them.

M&S Best In Beauty

Thee most incredible goodies.

I cried when I opened this, I mean what an incredible collection of products, their best of the best. The most common thing I hear about M&S and their beauty selection is: "I didn't realise they stocked so many brands" - indeed they do. They are SLAYING the game at the moment when it comes to products, and I seem to be endlessly recommending them as a place to shop, and half my links on here end up being for M&S, they are just so easy to use, readily available, and perfect for a quick (or not so quick) walk around if you are in town.
