Amy & Andy's Pinterest Inspired Wedding

Do you ever just meet someone and instantly think - "Hey I like you" well this is what happened with these girls. The past year has been incredible, we have been through college together, written a care projects, MATHS!, nando's and nipple piercings, we have been through it all together this year, and I couldn't have picked a better pair to share the experience with.

For this whole year, Amy has been wedding planning, we have chatted about flowers, lights, cars, bars, seating arrangements, dress fittings... you name it we have spoke about it - and this weekend she got to marry her Andy - and it was without a doubt the best wedding I have ever been to.

Kat Von D: What I Have, Reviewed + Swatches

Every now and then I stumble across a brand which completely smash it across the board. It's simply every product they launch - its just good. No flops. Kat Von D is that brand to me at the moment. Everything they do is just fab, and every new launch is just improving the brand more and more in my eyes.

Debenhams Beauty Haul + Swatches

I thought I would share with you all the items I have picked up over the past few weeks in Debenhams. My local one has undergone a huge revamp, and we now have Kat Von D, Bobbi Brown & Make Up Forever - it is looking pretty incredible. Needless to say I have bought some bits - it makes it so much harder to resist when you can swatch the items first.. goodbye money, nice to have known you...

Single Parent Travelling: Berlin Dec'17

I think there is a lot of things about being a single parent that is tough, but for me the hardest part is not having someone to do things with. You are a pair, rather than a group. You are one to one, rather than a team against your children, this can be everything from meals out, trips to the cinema, days out and holidays.

Project Pan 2017

I did a project pan post back in 2016 (you can view that here) but I totally forgot and just put it aside. Part of me hates the idea of project pan, the idea of using something up, finishing it and being over, but another part is now loving that idea. Actually USING the things I love, finishing them, and repurchasing them if I really did love them, or replacing with something a bit different.

I have been really into watching project pan videos on YouTube the past few weeks, I must admit I have learned quite a lot from watching them, either things I want to do - or things I want to avoid. I aim to use things I love, and to giveaway bits I am not using. I also want to photograph progress to see how quickly I actually using things - I am hoping this gives me a better insight when buying things - well that is the plan anyways!

On The Go Beauty Bag

I think everyone has those days - the ones where you hit snooze 12 times too many, or leave it until the very last minute then think FUCK. Scramble yourself together and throw some makeup into a bag to do on the way - usually to work.

So I thought I would share with you the things I always throw in my bag. The key things I think of while taking makeup out my house is mainly:

Let's Talk: Drowning in Samples

HELP.

Some days I feel like I am just drowning in all the samples I have, drowning I tell you, and I am sure I am not alone here, everything from serums, moisturisers, makeup AAAAH - all in teeny form. But are they helpful? Or a complete waste of time?

YouTube Videos I Do Not Have Time For

I'm sure I am not alone when I say I spend HOURS every week watching YouTube videos... what can I say? I just cannot resist a "What am not gonna buyyyy" video (Sung in Kimberly Clark style of course) But there is a whole load of videos that I just cannot stand anymore, even looking at their title I think BLECH! So I thought I would put them all together in one list, and you can add things in which you cannot stand too, so we can all be negative together!

Top 5 High End Lipsticks (& Swatches)

Finding the perfect lipstick can be a mission in itself, but an enjoyable one at least. I have found my heart well and truly belongs to a matte formula, a creamy one, a nude one. Every single one of my favourites have been matte - but I always promise to be honest on here, and this is honest and real... I just love a matte lippy.

May: Goals, Wishes & Regrets

Hello May, it doesn't feel like proper May yet, but we seem to be a good chunk into it already. Life just flies now! So here are my goals for this month! :)

Lancome Teint Idole Ultra Wear Foundation Review & Swatches

I think I am ready to say this.... This is the best foundation I have ever used. Move over Sheer Glow, this is the new favourite. Why? Because it stays put - on my oily nose, ALL DAY. Which is a miracle status in my opinion. So here is the full review!

Blogger & PR/Brand Events

I have been blogging for 2 years now - so have come to a point where I have seen some of the best and worst parts of it. I love the engagement, the improvement, seeing people love your content is SO rewarding.

I love being given the opportunity to work with brands, already loving a brand and them contacting you asking if you would like to try out some more from them, or being given an opportunity to try a brand you haven't used before - it is definitely an incredible experience.

Unfortunately the relationship between bloggers and PR can be pretty crap, we seem to have expectations from each other and lack of understanding - well for some of us anyways. Brand relationships can be incredible, but you need to be strong and know your worth - especially when it comes to your blog and PR expectations, I have found this most at Events.

Kiehl's in Dundee Opening and Skin Consultation

My local Debenhams is having the best revamp yet - we are getting additions of Kat Von D, Bobbi Brown, MUFE, and of course Kiehls... Needless to say we are all seriously excited! *squeel* So the lovely ladies at Kiehls invited over some local bloggers to their opening night - and I had such a good time I thought I would write a post on it.
