I cannot believe we are pretty much half way though 2016...
It feels like yesterday that I wrote the Project Pan 2016 post, so I'm in shock that this is almost half way into the year already.. I mean what happened?
Anyway, I thought I would update you with which items I have managed to make my way though - and which items have no hope at being finished by December!
So here is my box of Make Up empties. I must say I am pretty disappointed by the lack of items in here lol, mostly Mascara to be expected, two eyeliners, perfume, primer and a setting powder.
Seriously Erin, stop buying and start using what you have already! Its so harddd lol.
Anyway, the main reason for why I am not finishing that much is due to me being obsessed with buying more. So this is me saying enough. No more makeup!!
Ok its not as easy as that. haha
I do seem to have 5 half used concealers and 4 half full foundations, which I plan on tackling first.
The MAC studio fix has about 2 uses left, and I am scared to be left without any to be honest. It's my baby.
I have found this with quite a lot of things, being scared to finish them and then be without. As if keeping something with one use left is actually useful... *sigh* I need to get over that!
As for the rest, I'm not really sure what I will finish. I still aim to finish MAC Honey Love, its my most used. So it's doomed - I also have a few eyeshadows and a few blush items which I'm sure will end up done, but who knows? All it takes is one new product obsession and there is no chance haha.
Have you ever struggled finishing a product? which items do you think you'll use up this year? Let me know in the comments below :)
Catch up with the first Project Pan post here
I would LOVE it if you could follow me on Bloglovin' (I follow back too)

I struggle constantly! Just like you im constantly buying so it just never goes. I dont think I have ever used up a eyeshadow... How bad is that! I did use up my foundation (Illamasqua) and was devastated, i did repurchase it though.
ReplyDeleteAapart from that I think a couple of mascaras and a lipstick (it smelt funny). That's it.

ReplyDeleteI started trying to do Project Pan but I got distracted and bored half way and my plan went up in smokes. I really need to sit down and go through my stuff again and at least try to finish some of my makeup.

I feel your struggle, I also tend to buy more products even though I have loads to finish. So yes, I also struggle to finish any make-up.

I'm usually quite good about finishing up foundations and mascaras but as for lipstick, blush, eyeshadow, and everything else...hopeless. But I totally know what you mean about being scared to finish a favorite product! I save my favorite perfumes for special occasions.

It's so hard for me to do Project Pan as I keep buying makeup. I did hit pan on one of my Makeup Forever cream blushes though and there's a wide whole, but it will take me a long time before I finish it, and I've had it for a year and a half.

I have the same problem - I keep trying to do a product purge and make a little dent and then buy tonnes more! You're a girl after my own heart! X Bean's Beauty Blog
ReplyDeleteI've been trying to use up all my beauty stuff over the last few months because I'm moving out and I've actually been quite successful, for once. I've just kept the things I want to use up in easy reach so it reminds me to use them. It is so difficult to resist buying new things though!

Such a great idea! I definitely need to stop buying and just use up what I have
