Summer Empties 2018

What is living in my bin...

It feels like such a long time since I have done an empties post, so it was about time I did a little update on everything I finished up over summer. The sweatiest summer in history may I add. SO sweaty. I showered far too much lol.

In 3 months I have used up 5 shower gels. Says it all really. Says it all about how stinky I have been feeling in the heat. Constantly showering to deal with my fear of being smelly. Lovely. The Original Source Mango (£2.29) will forever be a staple to me. The packaging has changed since these ones, but wow do I LOVE the smell of this. It reminds me of mango ice cream.

Shower Foams are now my latest obsession, the dual purpose of being able to use it for shaving too is just so handy. The Radox Apple Blossom & Cranberry (£2.99) is lovely, but I prefer the scent pay off from the Bilou Pink Melon (£3.99) - plus the packaging is flipping beautiful. All round winner has to be the Original Source Pineapple (£3.25) though. IT SMELLS SO GOOD. My heaven in a pump... and I actually prefer it over the mango shower gel now too.

Mitchum Pure Fresh Deodorant (£2.99) will forever be a staple in my routine. No sweat ever gets through this one, ever.

Face wash is something I use in the shower. Now I know we shouldn't, but if I didn't I doubt I would remember to use it first thing when my face needs to be washed... so meh, it happens. I like the process of washing my face in the shower. The Clinique Cleansing Micellar Gel (£17.00) was fab for this. I wouldn't use or recommend this for removing makeup - it really isn't up to that job, but as a general face wash it's good. For a more budget-friendly option, I loved the Garnier Purifying Botanical Gel Wash* (£3.49). I also have a bad habit of using lip scrub in the shower (I consider it as a pre-breakfast treat) I used up another Lush Bubblegum Lip Scrub (£6.50), I love the scent but the Jeffree Star ones are still my personal favourite.

Bioderma Micellar Water (£10.80 - Full Post) seems to be something I will forever repurchase now. It is just the best, the original. The hype is there for a reason. The Clinique Take The Day Off Cleansing Balm (£24.00) has equal amounts of hype for good reason too, it's SO good. It can remove any and all makeup you may have applied... waterproof, eyeliner, mascara, glitter. Everything. Effortlessly with minimal rubbing.

As for the sun cream, I am still in shock I finished one. Definitely a rare occasion, but I loved the M&S SunSmart SPF30* (£12.50 - Full Post), it was perfect on holiday and over summer. Non-greasy and easy to use.

Matrix Color Obsessed Shampoo and Conditioner* was my go-to for typical hair days, when it wasn't dry or in need of an intense treatment. This duo helped to maintain my colour and shine without creating a build-up of product. I would definitely use this again, but for now, I am loving Kebelo :)

The Makeup Revolution Conceal and Define Concealer (£4.00) is now a cult classic amongst us bloggers, and for good reason too. C1 is my perfect pale shade. I LOVE it. My only issue with this was wishing there was more product in each tube, but they have corrected that with the new XL packaging! I have already bought another one of these....

The Benefit Precisely My Brow Pencil (£20.50) is my perfect brow tool, minimum fuss and effort. I just fill in the blanks and brush through the comb. I already have another one of these, and I may have picked up the new one they have released to try...

What have you used up in the past few months? Let me know in the comments below :)
