M&S Beauty: Sleepy Favourites*

Normality has arrived.. Hello Term-Time.

Summer is over with the schools going back, how excited is everyone? With the arrival of September everyone seems to have gone back to their normality. Kids are tucked away in school, College has started and University semesters have begun.

The issue of sleep deprivation also seems to have reared its ugly head. Whether that being due to early morning school runs, late nights making paper mashe masterpieces for your child's homework (which they will need to pretend they did themselves) or simply returning to education and work. I know I am SO tired, and I am definitely not alone.

I was so impressed to see M&S are thinking of us sleepy-heads with products designed to relax and soothe, or prolonging the time we can lie in bed in the morning... who doesn't love products made to make our lives that little bit easier?

At nights I have found myself needing to wind down. Quickly cleaning up my face with some of the Formula Micellar Cleansing Wipes - I love to use these before masks or before my evening skincare routine - they are fab! The Seoulista Beauty Charcoal Detox Instant Facial Mask is the perfect example of the type of masks I have been using. The Charcoal Detox mask is the perfect cleansing mask for stressed skin - and one I will need to purchase more of soon.

Thanks to sheet masks I can now avoid the "having to wash your hair" risk often present with more messy masks - and I definitely don't have the time or the urge to hair wash more than I need to. I have been successfully avoiding hair washing for 3-4 days in a row with the help of Aveda Shampure Dry Shampoo. I use this most nights before bed, reducing the oil production and minimising grease. YAY. The scent is also pretty incredible, Aveda seem to have accepted we all use dry shampoo at night, and have added a calming, soothing scent to their dry shampoo - it is SO nice. The perfect scent to fall asleep around, rather than a strong chemical or artificial scent some have.

For a night cream I have been loving the Formula Ultimate Sleep Cream - It is thick, hydrating and boasts anti-aging properties. I have not seen any viable differences yet, but at 27, anything which helps my skin remain plump and healthy is a good sign.

With myself ready for bed I have been lighting the Neom Tranquillity Candle to fill my room with a soothing lavender scent while I catch up on reading. It is so nice to switch off and wind down before sleep, giving yourself that little bit more of 'me' time. Even after the flame is distinguished on the Neom candles the scent remains for some time, this accompanying the Ren & Now To Sleep Pillow Spray is the perfect bed time scent - ready to whisk anyone off to the land of nod. Sleepy perfection.

Despite my luxe night time routine, dragging myself out of bed in the morning is still proving to be more difficult than I expected. I have been opting for a no makeup look to gain an extra 10 minutes in bed. Reaching for the Formula Time Capsules for a quick morning skincare boost to combat those pesky eyes... and  I have kept the Stila Convertable Blush/Lip Duo in the car for mornings where I look dead and colourless. YAY.

Overall, this collection of goodies have been a welcomed addition to my routine - especially during my first week back at university. Bring on the sleep.

Have you tired any of these yet? How do you relax in the evening?
