The Ride Or Die Tag

Jaclyn Hill created a Tag on her YouTube channel this week on her "Ride or Die" Products, After thinking about it for a few days I decided I would just see if any of my products have changed since my 2015 Favourites post, and turns out there has been a lot of changes.. so I thought I would show you my Ride or Die items.. the items I just cannot live without, the ones I would be happy using forever. Here goes...

Primer: Bourjois Happy Light Serum (£10.99) Full Post Here
just the perfect base for any makeup look. I don't own anything else or use anything else.

Foundation: Nars Sheer Glow "Gobi" (£31.00) Full Post Here
For me a foundation isn't so much about finding the right coverage, its about finding the correct shade first - which can be a nightmare with my pale/neutral skin. This one matches me perfectly and gives the most beautiful natural flawless skin.

Concealer: Nars Creamy Concealer "Chantilly" (£22.50)
It's the best I have tried... yet. This one I know will change the minute I use the Naked one... but I haven't got it yet, so here it is. This is lovely though, so bright and perfect for under my eyes.

Setting Powder: Essence All About Matt! (£3.00)
I am in love with Translucent powders recently, and this one is perfect for setting. When you use it it's like you haven't used it, but your make up just doesn't move.. which to me is the perfect result.

I have been in love with this for a year now. I would say I use it a good 70% of days. And it is still going strong. Well worth the investment. It is the perfect natural - not blush looking blush. LOVE

Contour: Too Faced Coco Contour (£32.00) Full Post & Swatches Here
The top two shades of this palette are incredible. Light Coco is the perfect under eye, down the nose matte bright highlight & Medium coco is my perfect contour shade... oh and the whole thing smells like chocolate. YES..

Highlight: The Balm Mary Loumanizer (£17.50)
It's love. This is the one I reach for the most, it just GLOWS. So much so I am going to repurchase (mine is broken/not as good as it was) I need a perfect one back in my life ASAP.

Eye Primer: Urban Decay Primer "Eden"  (£16.00)
Nothing is budging with this on, ever. Oh and it can correct mistakes and cut out a crease. I wouldn't be without this now, why even bother with eyeshadow without this! :)

Eye Shadow: Too Faced Peach Palette (£39.00) Full Post & Swatches Here
I cannot believe I am saying this, but this has overtaken my Naked 1 palette as ultimate favourite. Oh and it should be back in stock for spring! Excited? I am :) It is just thee most perfect palette, the colours are stunning and the pigmentation is fab!

Eye Liner: Seventeen Wet Look Liner (£3.99)
Repurchased this over and over now. Perfect liner, super black, amazing price and will not come off. SO GOOD.

Mascara: Maybelline Lash Sensational (£7.99)
Cult favourite for a good reason, everything gets compared to this, and nothing ever seems to be as good.

Brows: Urban Decay Naked Basics (£23.00) Full Post & Swatches Here
I know, I know, its an eyeshadow. Rarely use it for shadow, but it is the perfect eyebrow palette. The mix of the dark brown and black is perfect.. and that highlight is everythingggg.

Brow Setting: Benefit Ready Set Brow (£18.50)
Sets my brows, but doesn't make them hard or crispy... it's like magic!

Lip Liner: Estee Lauder "Spice" (£18.00) Full Post & Swatches Here
Bloody expensive pencil...but I cannot deny my love for this liner.... I love the texture, its so creamy and smooth to use.

Nude Lipstick: MAC "Honey Love" (£16.50) Full Post & Swatches Here
My ultimate Nude lip. Perfect for my pale skin.

Lipstick: Charlotte Tilbury "Sexy Sienna" (£23.00) Full Post & Swatches Here
I know, I have only had this a month, but seriously it is just so so beautiful, and I just cannot get enough of it.. plus it is the perfect pair to the Too Faced Peach Palette. It is the perfect nudey coral.

Perfume: Chanel Chance Eau Tendre (£55.00)
This has been my smell since well before I met Iain now, the minute I sniffed it I fell for it, and even now every time I use it I just fall for it all over again.. this is the one I get for my Christmas from my gran, without fail.. every year. And I love it every year.

So tell me, which items are your ride or die? do you love any of mine? Let me know in the comments below :)

I would LOVE it if you could follow me on Bloglovin' (I follow back too) Follow

  2. I'll have to try the Seventeen liner - I have very watery eyes so most liners smudge on me and the ones that don't are expensive so this is definitely on my list now. That Too Faced Peach palette is a stunner! xx

  5. I couldn't agree more about foundation. The right shade really makes me love a foundation and I also found my perfect shade in Nars Sheer Glow!

  8. I've just had Mary Lou for a week or so and I'm crazy about it! It really is super intense, the only thing I don't like and I don't know if I'm the only one with this problem, is that it seems to go everywhere, well, not everywhere but doesn't look as located in the cheekbones, it looks kind of all over my cheek, I don't know if it's the way or the brush I apply it with. CT lipsticks are so beautiful! I'm actually saving some money to get my first one. I love this tag so much I may have to do it myself! Great post <3

  9. Totally agree with highlitghter, eyeshadow palette and contour palette! :) But don't understand the hype with the Lash Sensational from Maybelline. I bought it cause I read so many good reviews, but it does nothing for me :(
