August Empties

Yet another empties post. I never get tired of these. I have used up a fair bit this month too, so hope you enjoy :)

1. Garnier Ultimate Blends Shampoo and Conditioner (£4 for both) - Not going to lie, the shampoo is not finished, it never is... because the conditioner is ALWAYS used up first. So I am not washing my hair conditionerless. This was good though, not thee most amazing shampoo ever, but good enough to use it all :)

2. Champneys A Well Earned Treat Shower Mousse (£4.33) - I love these. The price is high, especially for 200ml, but as it is a mousse, it just seems to last forever. I will use about 4 pumps a day, and this one lasted two months, vs 250ml lasting me 3 weeks. Sneakily good value, highly recommend, and I would definitely repurchase.

3. Supercat Fat Liner  (£7.00) - HATED this, just streaky and not black enough, total nightmare to work with, and if you are not as good at liner as a pro, this will just make life 10x harder for you.

4. Supercat Liner (£6.00) - I used to LOVE this stuff, until I met the 17 wet look liner. Nothing ever seems black enough now compared, but I loved this for starting out... really easy to get a good line using this one :)

5. Rimmel Exaggerate lip liner in "Eastend Snob" (£3.99) - Such a blogger classic, and I must admit I do love it.. but I hate the packaging, I hate twist ups, they just never last as long as a pencil, you can see my favourite lip liners here, where I swatch this and the rest :)

6. NARS Radient Creamy Concealer "Custard" (£22.50) - I have no idea why I bought this shade. I must of been crazy that day. Needless to say it wasn't used up very quickly... reserved only for spots, but I do love the formula, but only in Chantilly, which is my actual shade. Haha.

7. Maybelline The Falsies Volume Express (£7.99) - This actually got a mention in my Wishes & Regrets post... yeah I hated it. The wand was terrible, it BENDS! I mean why! Its just too wobbly to work with - will be going for Lash Sensational next time!

The Candles & Wax Melts

I LOVE TK Maxx for candles, I just think the quality is incredible for their small price. DW Home is a brand I see all the time in there, and this pineapple & palm candle has to be the best candle I have ever burned, I know - big statement, but the smell was just incredible! It burned beautifully, and could not recommend more, you can check it out here for £18.00, the packaging seems to have changed, but hopefully the smell and candle is the same.

The other jar candles are ones from the next sale, and one from b&m homestores which I love, I chat about them in this post.

The wax melt situation is getting ridiculous, but the obsession is real. I bought myself a scentsy burner recently, so I am burning a different scent every day, hence all the wax! I will be doing a post on that this month, well overdue now I think, because I just love it :)

Mostly I have been using french vanilla ones and melon ones, but again, more on that soon!

Which things have you used up this month? any makeup? let me know in the comments below :)

I would LOVE it if you could follow me on Bloglovin' (I follow back too)

  5. I need to get more candles to burn, for some reason I keep forgetting or just didn't bother. I received a sample of the Garnier Whole Blend shampoo and conditioner in the coconut scent and I didn't like it. I like how it made my hair feel but the scent was too strong.

  8. That sucks that you didn't like The Falsies. I swear by it, but then again Maybelline mascaras are very hit and miss for me!

  13. I use my shampoo first, never managed to finish the conditioner first :) Then whenever I purchase something new, the left over conditioner is never used :) I actually like twist up pencils, it is way better than using pencil sharpener :)
