Product Review: The Balm Mary Lou-Manizer

Every now and then I give into a hype, and this one is all over the internet. It's hard to stumble across someone who doesn't own one of these beauties, and now I see why.

Mary Lou is very pale, light champagne shimmer, finely milled and full of pigment. It is definitely not one for the faint hearted. Get yourself a good fluffy brush, and blend away - it will leave you glowing, healthy glowing that is, no discoballs here :)

I picked up Mary Lou using my birthday money, a few days after purchasing MAC's coveted "Oh Darling" and I must say, I have used Mary Lou far more than the MAC option. I find it to be creamier to apply, but also more suitable for my rediculously pale skin.

I'm not sure this would would for all skin types, but if you are pale like me and really struggle to find a highlight that matches your skintone this may be the one for you.

Now I just need to tell myself I don't need her sister Cindy-Lou, which I can see me trying to justifying sometime soon!

  3. I'm not sure if they have this where you live, but they sell a trio here in the states, of all 3 of the sister luminizers in a little palette. I would've gotten it if I didn't already have Mary.. :)
