November's Empties

Its empties time again. Say hello to the things I have used up (and should have binned) over the past month! :)

1. Garnier Ultimate Blends Shampoo and Conditioner (£2.79 each) - ok so I really loved this combo, but I have two problems with it. 1, it smells amazing like so freaking good, so good that my other half took a liking to it, so it didn't last long ha! 2. the shampoo is 250ml, the conditioner is 200ml this really really really annoys me, I mean why would a company do this? I don't know anyone who gets to the end of a shampoo before a conditioner, foolish. - but I would probably buy this one again... it really was nice to use.

2. Original Source Mango (£2.30) - Yet again, I love original source, and the mango one is 100% my favourite. So much so I have ordered it again this week. (its on offer in Sainsbury's atm)

3. Glam Glow Super Mud (£45.00 per 30ml) - This is a samle size not a full size, so enough for one mask. From my experience the colour changing effect was nice, It really does give you a complex over your pore sizes, highlighting them in a glaring way which makes you want to cry. But overall I wasn't impressed enough to run out and part with £45. I feel it highlights more than it helps, I didn't feel like it did anything amazing... so I will be sticking to my Lush Masks!

4. Kiehl's Ultra Facial Moisturiser (£24.00 per 50ml) - Another sample size... but at 30ml this was a really good sample (thank you spaceNK!) This stuff is fab, I have been using it for a few months now and I must admit it really did make my skin feel amazing, totally worth the splash of cash, especially as this tub lasted me for a lot longer than I expected it to, a little goes a long way!

5. Rimmel Wake Me Up Mascara (£7.99) - I really loved this mascara, it smelled so good (I know smell!!) like cucumbers to be exact, a fresh scent to something totally unexpected. The brush was fab and I really loved using the product.

6. Contact Lenses. - Something simple yet annoying to run out of. I am not blind, but I can't drive without glasses, something that annoys me to no end, having constant glasses marks over the makeup on my nose.. But I don't like wearing contacts every day, dailies are fab for just when you want to use them, no hassle over storage or keeping them clean, just bin them once you are done. I really should go get some more...

7. The candles - I am so proud of myself, usually I will go through a good amount of candles in glass jars, yankee etc, but this month I opted for the wax melts and I think this shows how much I have been loving them. I spent £3.00 on 100 tea lights, and have one in my burner and a couple more scattered around to avoid the urge to buy glass jar candles, and it seems to be working, fair enough I have used 78 tealights in 30 days, but that's less than 3 a night, so not too bad really? Maybe I'm kidding myself, but I do love my wax melts now (another post coming soon on them)

Which items have you used up this month? are you as obsessed with candles as I am? Let me know in the comments below :)

  1. When I saw the first photo I was thinking about writing "no candled this time" until I saw the last photo :) I am sure you will be using more of them in November and December :)
