Official Beauty Blender Arrives At M&SBeauty!*

 M&S Slaying the Beauty Game.

M&S really are killing the shopping experience at the moment, their brands are flipping incredible, and I am LOVING a quick (or not so quick) browse around their beauty section. Their most recent brand addition is the OG Beauty Blender, a staple in pretty much everyones stash now. I am at a point where I wouldn't use anything else to apply my base. Sponges are definitely better than brushes for foundation - well in my opinion anyway.

Despite my long love affair with sponges for makeup, I had never actually tried the Official Beauty Blender up until now. They aren't sold locally to me (well until M&S started selling them) and I had never made an online order just to get one. They are the sort of thing you pick up in a hurry when you realise you need one, and I had never taken the time to order one - silly me.

So, it has been interesting to see what the hype started with, and the bar all others are compared against, the OG, the one where it all began.

For the past few years, I have been a RT Complexion Sponge kind of chick, one which has known to be a good doupe, so it has been interesting to try the real after growing so accustomed to the similar. I must admit I do see a difference.

The Original is lighter, squishier, airier, bouncier. Yet it doesn't absorb too much product and applies evenly and smooth. Unlike anything I have ever tried before, the texture is just different. I can see why people love them, and now that I have a real one... I might just need to continue purchasing - especially when I can get them alongside a bag of Percy's!

Have you tried the original beauty blender yet? What did you think? Let me know in the comments!
