Indie Lee Lotion CoQ-10 Toner Review

The Prettiest Toner

I picked up this toner in the CultBeautyXLydiaEMillen collaboration, where there were some pretty incredible savings on some fantastic products. So I was so excited to try this one out.

The Indie Lee CoQ-10 Toner has been a joy to try out. Definitely not as potent as a typical toner at stripping, but it leaves your skin feeling clean, clear and hydrated. I have loved using this daily alongside my skincare routine, and find myself reaching for it constantly over my other options.

"This alcohol-free CoQ-10 Toner is just the thing for skin that's crying out for a hit of hydration - acting more like a pre-serum treatment than typical 'toner'. A potent antioxidant, CoQ-10 works to protect from (and repair) the ageing effects of free radicals, while stabilising skin's pH to leave it feeling smooth and soft.

This is the ultimate skin quencher for complexions that often feel tight and uncomfortably dry. It’s good for those with ageing concerns, as its star ingredient - CoQ-10 - works to boost the skin’s natural repair and defence mechanisms for a smoother complexion over time. It also contains hyaluronic acid (an impressive humectant), which works to help the skin retain much-needed moisture, while soothing aloe vera, chamomile and cucumber keep skin calm and contented. Think of this as a skin-softening precursor to your serum or moisturiser."

The toner definitely excels at ensuring moisture remains in your skin throughout your skincare routine, this would be ideal for dry skin types. I have oily/combo skin, but I have had no issues with it at all.

The packaging is sleek and beautiful. The glass bottle can be problematic when trying to shake out product rather than squeezing plastic, but I have found the glass adds that little bit extra to using this, making you feel a little fancier after a day of work.

For £30.00, this isn't a cheap option. And to be honest I am unsure if I can say it's worth the cost yet. Definitely not for everyone, and I don't know what I will decide to do when it is finished. Well and truly on the fence on this one - sorry! But I will of course update you when it does run out.

Overall,  I have loved using this toner, it has been a joy to use as part of my current routine, and I can't see myself stopping using it anytime soon.
