First Impressions: Clinique Pep-Start Skincare Range

Being a beauty blogger, after some time (and a lot of effort) we often have incredible opportunities to try out new products which we potentially wouldn't have stumbled across ourselves. With this, I have discovered complete treasures I now just cannot live without.

The only disadvantage to this is you often then overlook pieces which have been on the wishlist for you to buy. Distracted by new launches and hyped products the ones which hide under the radar are often lost along the way.

But this January I took the lull in beauty & skincare launches to invest in some bits I had been meaning to pick up for a while now - the pep start range is definitely one.

The Clinique Pep start range packaging is just utter perfection to me. Bright, colourful, simplistic and just FUN.

The Pepify Gift Set was the perfect place to start. The Hydro-Rush Moisturiser proves a little really does go a long way. This to me is more of a night cream than one to use in the morning, as it is thick in consistency and really does help to put more moisture back into your skin. I have been using the tiny tub now for 3-4 weeks and still have loads left, which helps to convince me that I may just need the full size when this one runs out.

The gift set also contains the 2 in 1 Exfoliating Cleanser, this has been living in my shower since I got it. I use it every morning in the shower, but I can't speak much for its cleansing properties - as I haven't ever used it to remove my makeup. But I do love it to remove any residue there may be on my face. It's refreshing and easy to use.

Now, the best bit I have picked up is without a doubt the Double Bubble Purifying Mask. This is without a doubt the easiest and most effective mask I have used. It has a pump. Two pumps is enough for a full face. Spread a thin layer all over your face and it then foams up - or bubbles away. It feels seriously odd - but in a good way. You can definitely feel it working. Then 2-5 minutes later you wipe away using a cloth. DONE. No mess, or fuss, it isn't difficult to remove or apply, and it definitely doesn't get in your hair.

Overall, I have loved trying out the Pep-Start range from Clinique, and I would highly recommend checking out the Double Bubble Purifying Mask if you haven't already - it's fab! :)

Have you tried anything from this range yet? What did you think? Let me know in the comments below.

This doesn't effect at all what I promote, it simply means if you choose to purchase through the link, I get a small thank you from the retailer for sending you their way. This won't cost you any more money, and won't affect your shopping experience, and if you are not comfortable with this, just google the item instead :)
