Dermalogica Redness Relief Essence*

A new redness toner to try...

The more I try from Dermalogica the more impressed I am. I love their collection at the moment, and it seems the more I try the more my regular skincare routine seems to be turning white and grey. The redness relief essence is the latest addition to their collection - and they very kindly sent me one over to try out.

Dermalogica describes it as:

"Lightweight like a toner but concentrated like a serum, the refreshing formula visibly reduces redness and helps reduce sensitivity by strengthening the skin’s moisture barrier. Redness Relief Essence is part of the UltraCalming™ line and works synergistically to relieve, restore and hydrate sensitive skin against redness, discomfort and dehydration."

1. Reduces the appearance of redness
2. Boosts hydration and helps strengthen the skin’s moisture barrier
3. Calms, soothes and balances skin

I've really enjoyed using this - but then I love a toner. I don't have sensitive skin, so I didn't see much de-sensitising happening (but to be fair,  I wouldn't realise if it did). I have noticed my skin is more hydrated and calmer since I started using it - better behaved shall we say. What's not to love?

The formula is lightweight and serum like, thicker than a typical toner but not quite as heavy as a serum. It applies best using hands or fingers - and it dries quickly. Simple yet effective.

I would recommend this to anyone with sensitive skin looking for a pick me up, if you are prone to redness from sensitivity you are going to love this!
