World Duty Free: Miller Harris Scherzo Perfume*

Valentine's Day Treat Perhaps? 

 I really don't know any girl who wouldn't be happy with an incredibly beautiful luxe perfume this February 14th. 

World Duty Free kindly sent this to me to try for the lead up to Valentines Day and I can honestly say I have never had so many compliments on how good I smell. This to me is one of the best compliments to give someone, so personal yet completely flattering - This is why I love it as a gift. There is something nice about being given a perfume by someone you love. It is just so special. 

The packaging Miller Harris has selected for this perfume is just complete and utter perfection. The colour drip packaging is bright and fun, then extends onto the bottle in the most simplistic, beautiful way. The bottle itself is weighty, it feels expensive. This to me really is important. It needs to look beautiful on my dresser, I need to want to use it. Feeling incredible whilst using a scent like this is expected for the price, and this well and truly ticks every box with the packa

But onto the perfume itself... 

With a base of Patchouli, Oud and Vanilla this scent has a rich undertone which seems to last for an eternity. Long into the night I find myself still comforted by the scent of my mother hidden in the undertones of Patchouli. Something about this scent just seems to relax me, remind me of home in the most lovely way. Top notes include Tangerine, which adds a sharp freshness to the scent when applied. This has always been one of my favourite scents in perfumes, the clean fresh notes just add a new dimention to a scent which makes it wearable all year round. 

I know this will be a scent I reach for on all occasions throughout the year. The rich scent makes this my top pick for those special days and nights - one where I was to feel (and smell) that little bit special. 

Top: Tangerine, davana

Heart: Olibanum, narcissus, pittosporum, dark rose

Base: Patchouli, vanilla, oudh, sweet note

Overall I highly recommend picking up the Scherzo perfume. Not only is it a beautiful scent, the packaging is utter perfection too - the perfect treat to your loved one (or yourself) this Valentine's Day.
