Project Pan/Process (Spring 2018)

Time to USE makeup

I think my 2017 Project taught me one thing - that it takes a long time to actually finish a product. This is good when it comes to expensive products lasting us a long time, but when it comes to us makeup hoarders - well it can be pretty shocking. The idea of actually using up our whole stashes then becomes an olympian task.

So instead of stressing on it, and continuing to buy more to add and not use. I thought I would create a Pan where I can swap and change different items, focusing on some more than others during the year, and hopefully finish up some products throughout 2018.

For spring I decided to add in some bits I have been using for a while and want to see the end of, but also add in some completely new bits I have just purchased, to get some use out of them. I am hoping to keep up with this kind of structure all this year.

The YSL Primer has been my go to for so long now, but I have too many primers now, so I would love to finish this one up to make way for a different one into my daily routine. Same goes for the Lancome Teint Idole Ultra Wear, I have a second full bottle waiting to go - so it would be nice to actually use this one fearless, knowing it is totally OK if this one is used up, because I have another.

The Too Faced Coco Contour Kit was in my previous pan and has since been depotted, the bulky packaging was driving me completely bonkers - so it's now looking less pretty - but more managable. I am just sick of this now, I want to hit pan already. It just goes on and on and on.

MAC's Blush Baby was my original ultimate blush shade, and I still love it. I just haven't been reaching for it as much since I got the Hourglass Blush. I would love to see pan on this one, but using it for the next few months is going to be nice :)

The Too Faced Highlighter in "Ray of Light" is the newest one to my stash. I just want to be taking full advantage of it, so I think it would be nice to see how much progress I can make on it within the three months.

The Too Faced Chocolate Bar Palette has been in my stash for such a long time now - and I feel like I haven't used it in SO long, which is so silly, because I love this palette, I just want to make the most of it as much as I can over the next 3 months.

Then there is the By Terry Ombre Blackstar in "Bronze Moon" - This was eyewatering expensive. And Oh my goodness I will be using every last bit of this. This will be my go to on minimal days :)

MAC "Honey Love" was in my 2017 pan, and I just need to finish it already. It is so close yet so far. *Just get it done Erin* Then in contrast to this, there is the Lip Intensity in "Smoked Almond" which is brand spanking new into my stash - but it is the perfect everyday nude - I am so curious to see how much I can use it in three months :) For both I use the Estee Lauder Lip Liner in "spice" it is creamy and blendable, the perfect mix for a nude lip :)

Then there is the Charlotte Tilbury Lipstick in "Secret Salma" the most beautiful Mauve Pink which I never reach for. This is something I need to use more. It's expensive and beautiful - so use it! :)

The Caudalie Lip Conditioner, Vichy Idealia Peeling*, Oskia Renaissance Cleansing Gel and the  Elemental Herbology Vital Peel are all so close to being finished now, so I am adding them in here to get them all used up - I can definitely finish them all over the next three months - to make room for other things :)

So there is everything I want to use over the next three months, have you considered doing a project this year? Let me know in the comments below :)
