Urban Decay Vice/Moondust Launch & Haul + SWATCHES

So Urban Decay turns 20 years old this year... and they celebrated with the only way a makeup brand should... with new products.

So I went along to the event in my local Debenhams.. they were showing off the new Vice and moondust palettes. I got the first chance to grab the palettes on their launch day, so I ended up NEEDING the moondust palette *sigh* I need to practice self control.

I also went for two lipsticks from their new range, their shade range is just incredible at the moment!

But first, onto the palette.

So the latest addition to the Urban Decay permanent line is the Moondust palette. They remind me a lot of the MAC Mineralised collection.. cinderfella etc. The feel and pigmentation is very similar, plus the high glitter pigment. This is a beautiful edition to any makeup lovers stash.

What I would say about this palette is that it is more a topper than an all over shade, you also need to dab the product on.. I have found it works best using your fingers. Not the easiest product to use, but worth the effort :)

Urban Decay Moondust swatches review
shade wise they are all beautiful. I am in love with the brown shade Lithium, but I love lightyear. I just want to use them all. The pinker shade does not show up well on my skin tone, but it is very pigmented.

I know I am going to have a lot of fun playing with this one, even if it is not the most everyday product I have ever bought... speaking of that, lets talk lipstick...

I do love a matte, so they are both from the "Comfort Matte" range, which I love.

Hitch Hike has to be the most beautiful warm toned nudey, browny, no idea how to explain it colour. I feel Jasmine from JasmineTalksBeauty would love this one. I do too, it is just perfection. Move over backtalk, Hitch Hike is here.

Now... let's talk the black: Perversion. Urban Decay brings out my wilder side, and I have been obsessing over this black lipstick for weeks. Who says only goths can rock a black lip? Stunning. I love it, even if it is far from an everyday colour.

So there is everything I picked up from Urban Decay, have you got anything in your wish list at the moment? are you brave enough to wear a black? let me know in the comments below :)

I would LOVE it if you could follow me on Bloglovin' (I follow back too)

  4. I was tempted to get the palette but I know I won't get much use out of it. Now Hitch Hike on the other hand, it's such a gorgeous nude shade!

  13. UD products are always such great quality and bang on trend :-) I can't bring myself to splurge on this after the dent the Alice Through The Looking Glass range made on my bank account! However, it does look gorgeous!
