Clinique Even Better Foundation Review + SWATCHES

The Even Better Range from Clinique has to be a favourite.

I must say when my local Clinique counter told me the original Even Better is just as good as the Even Better Refresh - I doubted them. The Refresh is now my go-to full coverage, stay all day foundation... but this one is incredible - just in a different way.

The Clinique Even Better foundation comes in a whopping 46 shades and a range of undertones to suit pretty much everyone. My shade works out to be pale AF, Flax - WN01 part of their "very fair" colour group.

Clinique Describe it as:

"Who it’s for: Dry Combination to Combination Oily Skin.

What it is: Dermatologist-developed foundation instantly perfects, Lasts 24 hours. Actively improves skin with every wear. Hydrates and smooths. Creamy formula gives skin a natural finish. Now in 48 shades.

What it does: Moderate-coverage hydrating foundation instantly perfects, improves evenness of skin. Creates a brighter, more even skin tone with a combination of potent antioxidants including Vitamin, C, E and plant-derived extracts. Broad-spectrum SPF15 protects against future discolouration. Stay-true pigments won’t change colour on your skin, for flawless, undetectable coverage. Sweat and humidity resistant."

I must admit, I'm seriously impressed. I don't like wearing makeup on placement - my face seems to fall down my chin by lunchtime - but this is one which actually knows how to stay put. The coverage is far lighter than the Refresh - but in a good way. This is perfect for those minimal days, which seem to be all the time right now. I tend to apply this in the car, running late as always. It is quick and easy to apply and blends beautifully. It covers all my imperfections perfectly - yet lets my freckles and blushed cheeks shine though.. the perfect mix for those lighter makeup days. Or if like me, you are beginning to prefer a lighter makeup look.

This has quickly become a firm favourite in my stash - and one I reach for all the time. The perfect mix of longlasting yet lightweight - something I wasn't too hopeful to find with my combination/oily skin. I would very highly recommend this if you are on the lookout for a new foundation. I love it!
