Easter isn't something we celebrate in a huge way here. Don't know why, but it's more about the chocolate than anything. So to celebrate Easter AJ & I decided to make cakes, (with chocolate of course)
So we decided to make something so easy a 4 year old could do it, but make sure it tastes good too.
So what you will need first is a good 4 bars of chocolate (we used cheap Tesco stuff which actually tastes pretty good) you will also need any form of cereal, we used rice crispies, and a packet of mini eggs.
Step 1:
Melt the chocolate. We like doing it on the cooker above boiling water, AJ stirred.
Step 2:
Lick the spoon like a boss. Calories don't count when you are cooking.
Step 3:
Pour the chocolate on top of your cereal, then mix well. make sure its all properly coated.
Step 4:
Divide into cupcake cases, then put two-three eggs onto each one.
Step 5:
Chill in the fridge for 2-3 hours.
Step 6:
Lick the bowls clean, and the spoon, make sure you have chocolate all over your face.
Step 7:
Enjoy, try to share, give one to your friends.
Step 8:
Cry over the calories, promise to start a diet money, then have another one.
I really hope you have enjoyed this weekends post, I thought my lack of cooking skills would be made up by the fact a toddler is making it right?
Let me know your plans for this weekend below, do you have anything special planned? Happy Easter.
I loved rice crispy nests when I was a child! They sell them in Costa for like, £2! x
