Top Makeup Brushes From the Highstreet/Drugstore

Make Up brushes seem to be something I LOVE. I love splashing out on a new set, hoping to perfect the finish to my face. But I do love finding a bargain too, and these are my top picks for less than £10. I tried to find one for each area, so in theory if you had these in your stash, you wouldn't need anything else!

1. Real Techniques Sculpting Brush £9.99
This has to be my absolute favourite brush at the moment. It just seems it can do everything. This is the perfect multi tasker. Currently I use it for blending in foundation, blending in my concealer, powder and cream contour, well actually powder contour too. Oh and if I am on the move, I will also use it for blush. EVERYTHING. It can do no wrong. It seems to be able to blend and apply products beautifully, but doesn't hold onto them, so it can just be used and used. Minimal Washing. YAY!

2. Cala Blush Brush £3.99
Now this one in theory shouldn't count, as it is typically over £10, but I always find it in TK Maxx, TK Maxx always has a huge selection of brushes available, and this is my favourite one from them, it just picks up the product beautifully

3. Real Techniques Contour Brush (Part of the Core Collection) £20.99
The core collection is worth picking up for this beauty and the flat buffing brush, both beautiful to work with, but this is my favourite to use for highlight and light contouring.

4. Seventeen Eyeshadow Brush £1.99
This brush is ideal for your brow highlight and your inner corner highlight. Couldn't be without this one now.

5. Real Techniques brow Brush  (Part of the Eye Collection) £21.99
Basically buy this set, 3/4 brushes from this set is included, but it is just so good! I love this for my brows, this is the only brush I use for my eyebrows :)

6. Real Techniques Accent Brush   (Part of the Eye Collection) £21.99
This is the perfect smudgy brush for under your eyes. It just picks up the right amount of product, and applies beautifully.

7. Morphe Eyeshadow M505 £4.75
I so love this LOVE IT. So much so I now use this more than my MAC 217. It is just the perfect blend brush, it can blend anything and everything into flawless perfection (well almost anything lol)

8. Real Techniques Bash Shadow Brush  (Part of the Eye Collection) £21.99
This is the one I reach for when I am starting my eye look. It just applies a good amount of product without too much fuss, as you can tell I really like this set!

So there is my top 8 picks. without a doubt the ones I would recommend to go get. Which ones do you recommend as top picks? Let me know in the comments below :)

I would LOVE it if you could follow me on Bloglovin' (I follow back too)

  4. That CALA brush looks so similar to EcoTools powder brush! You know what? That's a brilliant idea to look for makeup brushes in TK Maxx, I think it's equivalent to Winners here in Canada. I never thought of scoring makeup tools there so thanks for the idea!
