#MACWeek: Top MAC Eyeshadows + Swatches

What is a MAC week without some eyeshadow swatches? I couldn't go a week without having an eyeshadow post, hell, I can't even go into MAC without getting covered in eyeshadow so there is nothing new there.

These are the ones I love, the ones I recommend all the time, and the ones I just need in my stash at all times.

Just incase you are new to the MAC eyeshadow game, MAC started the whole customisable eyeshadow palette trend, before MUG there was MAC. This means you really can create a custom eyeshadow palette filled with the shades you love, totally unique to you! :)

You can buy them as singles, or go for a 2x, 4x, 6x or a 15x palette, the options really are endless :)

Blanc Type "Creamy Beige" (Matte)
So... confession... I am so pale that the palest shade in a typical palette as a base shade is too dark for me. So yeah, this is why I love blanc Type. It is the perfect base shade for me if I am setting concealer below my brow bone or on my lids.

Nylon "Pale gold with icy shimmer" (Frost)
Again with the pale factor, this is my perfect glow, this is what I use under by brow bone and in my inner corner. It is the perfect shade.

All That Glitters "beige with Gold Pearl" (Veluxe Pearl)
This had SO much hype a few years ago, everyone was obsessed, and for good reason too. It is such a perfect all over the lid kind of shade, really beautiful, and probably the only pink eyeshadow I actually use.

Sable "gold plum with bronze pearl" (Frost)
This again is the perfect all over the lid kind of shade. I love it. I love a brown shadow, and this is the perfect metallic shimmer that just makes my heart sing! I love it.

Texture "Peachy Brown with Shimmer" (Velvet)
This is the perfect transition shade, I just love it for most eye looks, such a pretty shade.

Coppering "Orange Copper" (Veluxe Pearl)
The perfect rusty copper red. I love this shade so much, it really makes blue eyes pop! :)

Amber Lights "Peachy-Brown with shimmer" (Frost)
I am such a gold whore, seriously the minute I see a gold shadow I just cannot help myself. SO PRETTY.

Woodwinked "Warm antique Gold" (Veluxe Pearl)
Another stunning all over the lid kind of shade, its beautiful, I love a brown, warm shadow lovers dream right here.

Rule "Vivid Orange" (Matte)
This was my first orange shadow and I still love it, warm shadows have become all the rage now, but this one was the first one for me, and it is such a pretty shade for warming up any eye look.

Tempting "sinfully rich coco" (Lustre)
This is a more dense shade vs the others. This one I use for layering on top for a bolder shimmery look on the lid. This is almost like a foiled shadow.

Sumptuous Olive  "Khaki with Pearl" (Veluxe Pearl)
Without a doubt my favourite eyeshadow. I LOVE this shade. It is the most incredible green, gold, brown kind of shade, it changes colour in the light and just looks perfect on. I recommend this to pretty much everyone. LOVE!

  12. From MAC I have to singles: Cranberry and Coral, and the Burgundy Times Nine palette. MAC has a lot of great products, but their eyeshadows aren't one of them!

  18. I find MAC Shadows hit and miss so I only own a couple. I am more into the ABH Single Shadows. I find the quality of their single shadows so much better than the palettes.

  20. I'm loving the #MACWeek so far, well done with these posts Erin! All your favourite shades are beautiful, and they're indeed real staples that you can use for many different looks. Sumptuous Olive has to be my favourite! I've never tried MAC eyeshadows but I really want to get myself a small palette at some point.
