Urban Decay Full Spectrum Palette Review + Swatches + Look

I feel like everyone has this palette now, and I have seen so many posts on it - so I can't guarantee this will be any different, but yeh - it was just way to pretty to not swatch and take photos on (and use!) So here is the swatches and the look I included - oh and I also did some pros and cons!

Pros:

  • The middle shades are incredible. The matte(ish) colours - the bold ones are incredible. Especially then yellow, green and blue. They are so so nice. So pigmented, smooth, easy to blend.
  • The Matte white (Bump) is everything a matte white needs to be. I would buy a full size of this one.
  • This is the perfect palette to a collection it gives you everything you are missing from all the typical palettes you would get.
  • The top row is ideal for creating a more traditional makeup look. So really ideal for travelling (the mirror is huge!)

Cons:

  • The bottom row (The pale shimmers, especially goldmine, faded, jones) are a bit rubbish. Especially when using a brush. They just don't transfer well. This is corrected by wetting the brush - but still - expect more from UD.
  • No matte black. I feel if it had one the palette really would have everything.

I love bold colours, but I can be so boring and predictable when it comes to makeup (brown eyeshadow, nude lips) so It was nice to do this and see how I looked with a bolder look... and I must admit I did love it. Has me wanting to do something like this more often.

Although I do still stand that my eyes suit more warm tones, the yellow and red looks fab! has me in the mood for wearing it on both eyes this week!

  8. I think you look amazing with bolder eyeshadow looks and I'm glad you like the palette. I waited for her over a year, but then I heard not really great reviews and decided to not buy it. I bought the Morphe colorful one instead and I'm very satisfied.
