World Duty Free Haul!

Who doesn't love spending all their available cash in Duty Free?

There is something exciting about splashing the cash in a shop before you have even had the chance to leave the UK. Every time I go on holiday I dream of the purchases I will make at the airport. This time was no different. I squealed when I walked in, SO EXCITING!

I had already planned to buy Jo Malone Basil and Neroli, so that was my first spend. I had used up my sample sizes of them, and needed something fresh and clean like this. I love how simple the scent is, and just makes for something a bit different this summer. I used this every night while on holiday too.

The NARS Matte Velvet Matte Skin Tint Foundation had been on my radar for a while now, but I don't have a NARS counter near me. This was my first opportunity to check out the shade range, and the SPF30 was definitely a push towards buying it. I decided to go for my usual shade, because as much as I would love a tan, realistically I'm pale AF and that isn't changing anytime soon. The shade Finland - Light 1 is a perfect match for my usual skin tone, right now I am just bronzing up a bit while my tan fades back down.

The NARS Velvet Matte Lip Pencils have also been on my wish list for ages now. Anna from The Anna Edit obsesses over them constantly, and Red Square is the perfect orange toned red - which I don't have anything like in my stash. This to me is the perfect summer shade, one I hope to use a lot this summer.

My final purchase was the Benefit Hoola Quickie Contour Stick. Now this was a bit of an impulse buy.... I picked this up for £16.00, down from £24.00 - such a bargain. I LOVE how easy this is to use, and I haven't stopped using it since I bought it. It just seems to blend like a dream, be so effortless to use, and the colour is perfect - even on my pale skin. Couldn't recommend this enough now, especially in summer time! :)
