Project Pan 2017 - Update

Something I have Learned from this: Project Pan is HARD.

Seriously so so hard. I'm genuinely shocked at how long things take to be used up, it makes me question why on earth I have so much makeup, but strangely doesn't make me stop buying it... but still, finishing up a product is hard, especially a powder product.

I can definitely see a big ol' dip in Champagne pop, this I think is the most visible progress. I really hope I will be hitting pan soon.

The Too Faced Contour Palette is going along the same route, I cannot wait to see pan on these two, and I doubt it will be much longer too! :)

The Hourglass Blush in Ambient Lighting is hard to pan, simply because its curved. I can see it getting gradually flatter though which is exciting :)

The Naked Basics I haven't been using as much - but I need to get back onto using this all the time. It was my go to for so long.

As for Honey Love, I think if I stop panicking that it's almost done and just use it it would be gone within a month. I need to just do it lol.

Have you decided to try and finish anything this year? Have you hit pan on any products? Let me know in the comments below :)

  1. I'm thinking about starting a Project Pan at the start of next year, but it seems to be so much harder than it looks! I love reading about other people's projects and how they're progressing.

  3. Looks like progress, Erin! I really need to do this. I've used the Naked Basics palette so much, but I have yet to reach pan. It's a little ridiculous!

  5. It takes so long doesn't it! I did a huge declutter a while ago and chose to start using things up before buying new and I've bought hardly any make-up since because I'm still working my way through items I already own! x

  6. And the weird thing is that we keep on buying more products LOL I have hardly finished up a bronzer or eyeshadow palette so have banned myself from purchasing new things unless I really need it

  8. It's great though that so many of your pans are hard to get through. Shows you're getting good value for money!

  18. I need to start a project pan myself! I have so many makeup items that i want to use more as I feel like they are just going to waste especially as most of them have a shelf life of 12 months!

  27. I don't think I've ever really truly used up a product for ages now cos I keep buying and buying new things. It's my mission to use up my old mac msf natural powder, it's nearly gone x

  28. I don't think I have ever hit pan on a highlighter, I just buy that many of them they seem to last forever!

  34. I hardly ever hit pan on anything because I have far too much makeup! I hit pan on a cream concealer the other day and I was genuinely shocked haha!
