2017 Favourites: Beauty, Lifestyle, Everything.

It's gonna be a long one guys, but hey, grab yourself a cuppa and enjoy, if you want to see all the goodies I have been LOVING this year, everything from makeup, skincare, TV and general lifestyle bits, this is everything I love, all in one post.

T H E   M A K E U P

Lancome Teint Idole Ultra Wear has without a doubt been my base of choice this year, it is just a stunning foundation for combo/oily skin, the finish is amazing and it lasts all day long, I cannot see myself finding something better than this now. For concealer it has to be the Urban Decay Naked Skin Concealer, it is so creamy, pigmented and blendable, the ultimate combo for a concealer. MAC's Studio Fix Powder Foundation is then my setting powder of choice. Sure it is a little extra to set your face with another foundation, but hey, it works (And it helps to cover up anything you have missed, and to touch up during the day!)

For contouring I am still using the Too Faced Milk Chocolate Bronzer, then warming up my face a little with the Clarins Bronzer. For blush it has been all about the Hourglass Mood Exposure Blush, this is such a cult classic now, but jeeez does it last forever and a day, don't feel like it is expensive, because it has lasted me two years. TWO, and I still haven't hit pan. For highlight is has been all about the Becca Champagne Pop, I have been trying to pan it this year, and I managed it! It is a beautiful highlight too, on me it is just a perfect beautiful GLOW! :)

For brows the only thing I use is the Benefit Precisely My Brow Pencil, it is just the perfect tool for filling in any blank space and giving your brows a little more definition, I use shade 5. The eyeshadow palette that seems to have stood out the most for me this year has been the Jeffree Star Androgyny Palette. I find it is just so wearable and blendable, I have been opting for a more grunge eye look again, but with bright warm tones. I love the red with the orange and khaki, beautiful combo. To finish off, I have been loving the MAC Bold and Bad Lash Mascara, it really helps to lengthen without clumping too much, and the addition of the lower lash brush is just fab.

Lips it has to be Dior 772, for SO long this has been the ultimate. It's just so flipping beautiful. I don't own anything like it either, the Matte formula is soft and smooth, and it is just so easy to wear. When I am not wearing that, I am wearing my usual MAC Honey Love. My perfect nude.

For finishing touches it has to be the Next Nail Varnish, they are all incredible, but my favourite is still the shade Rose Gold God, it is utter perfection. Then a quick spray (or 6) of the Jo Malone English Oak & Hazelnut, I have loved this this year, I have used up a 30ml in a few months, and I have now repurchased.

Everything requiring a brush has been applied using the Spectrum Collections Mean Girl Set, OMG its so pretty. SO pretty. They are on my blog and IG all the time too! :)

For Cleansers I have been obsessed with the Elemental Herbology Vital Cleanser*, I have fallen for this brand this year, their skincare is just incredible, I love their look and formulas. I am yet to try a product of theirs that disappoints!

The Garnier range has always been one of my favourites, the Garnier Micellar Water will always be a firm favourite, and now their SkinActive Toner* has been added into the roundup. I have also really enjoyed the Vichy Idealia Peeling* for that extra step at night.  They just help to clear away anything that was missed by the cleanser, the perfect second step. On nights where I feel a little too blocked up, espeically across my nose, I have been using the T-Zone nose strips*, they are so so good. And SO satisfying to use. I have gone through two boxes of them now... For moisturiser I have been loving the Superfacialist By Una Brennan Vitamin C Night Cream*, it seems to just have the perfect consistency. I am yet to find an oil I am completely in love with, but that is one of my aims for 2018! (Recommendations please!)

For lip balm it has to be the Caudalie Lip Conditioner, I have been using this for years, and I love the formula, the perfect formula, if you haven't tried this already you really should, it's lovely.

Some extras deserving a shout out I have loved using the Happy Place Cosmetics Banana Buttercream Body Scrub*, it is lovely, and I am in love with the scent of it. This is the perfect moisturising scrub too, my skin seems to soak it up. Obsessed, and I want to try some more scents in 2018. Finally, Mitchum deserves a shoutout simply because it is the boss of all deodorants.

F A S H I O N

This would typically be the point where I would include a picture of me looking all natural posing in my favourite outfits, but hell no is that happening, not anytime soon anyways. For me it is all about the Zara Stripey tshirts, I have about 8 of them, a blue and white is my favourite, but I love a red and white too. Not forgetting the Zara Chenielle Jumpers too, I have 3 of them, they are just SO cosy, and the Zara ones are without a doubt the best by far.

My Vans Old Skools in Leather haven't been off my feet either, to the point they will probably need replacing soon, but I love them, well worth investing in if you haven't already - although i'm pretty sure everyone on planet earth now has them, kind of like my Kanken. If you don't have one now, you need to get one. I LOVE my Kanken, the ultimate of School Bag. Plus it's yellow. In LOVE

As for the photo, my Boyfriend has treated me to two Missoma necklaces now, and I can honestly say the Missoma Horn has not been off my neck since 05/11, and it won't be removed anytime soon either, I love it, all the time. Shower and bed too. The E is my latest addition, isn't it pretty?

My latest addition to my Tech is my Apple Watch. Sure it isn't the most essential item on planet earth, but it really does just make life a little easier. Plus I have the yellow strap, so its just so flipping pretty. Shoutout to my MacBook too, always. It will forever be my #1.

The biggest game changer for my Tech additions this year has had to be my Camera though. I decided to purchase an Olympus Pen E-PL8, then went on to buy the 40-150mm Lens too, I have a post coming up on my camera, so stay tuned over the next few weeks for that one :)

H O M E

I always homewear, it makes me happy to look at. My Lizzie McCoo painting has to be one of the best, she is incredible, bold, bright, and such a good feature all in my livingroom.

Eve has been one of my favourite home and blogging moments this year. My gran treated me to one of their Eve Mattresses and oh my goodness it is heaven, how did I live without it? I then reached out to eve (AKA pleaded on twitter) and they wanted to work with me! Can you believe it? I then got to try out their Eve Towels, and they are pretty darn good too! :)

As always candles in general are on my favourites, but this year I have loved so many I cannot keep up. Right now it is all about the Isle Of Skye Candles, which are lovely.

P E R S O N A L

This year seems to have had so many ups and downs, but mainly I am just proud of myself for juggling work, college, blogging, parenting and volunteering without having a breakdown! I am somehow managing to pass college too!

AJ is growing to be a loving, caring, inteligent and resourceful little boy, he is doing so well at school and managing so well with our crazy life at the moment, I couldn't be prouder. He is now reading, doing sums, constantly drawing and using his huge imagination. We have been to Berlin this year, just us, he was so so good. He really is my heart and soul, I couldn't manage without him being a constant source of energy, entertainment and sheer unconditional love.

Other than that I have loved seeing friends, maintaining long distance relationships with friends and catching up for coffees a little too much.

The blog is doing really well, and it has come on so much in this year alone, onwards and upwards for 2018 now, I have so many good ideas I want in place for the blog. Stay tuned for more!

*fhewww* and we are DONE! I am now exhausted, this post has taken me longer than a Harry Potter movie to write! What have you loved this year? What has been your best moment and your best product? Let me know in the comments below!
