Make Up: Summer Beauty Edit

Make Up: Summer Beauty Edit

It's mid summer, I cannot believe how quickly this is going past, and it doesn't even feel like we have had a good bit of warm weather yet! I love doing these posts seasonally, just to see how my makeup preferences change throughout the year and which products I am reaching for. So here is my Summer Edit! :)

BASE..//
For primer I am still using the YSL Blur Primer exclusively. I really love the feel of this, it just covers any texture or any imperfections. For foundation I have moved onto the Lancome Teint Idole Ultra Wear, which is incredible. I am the shade 005, and it has to be - without a doubt - the best foundation I have ever used. It is stunning!

For concealer I am using the Kat Von D lock it concealer. I have stupidly bought the wrong shade in this, but overall it is nice. Very thick but blends easily. A few people I know of have had issues with this not sitting well - but I haven't had this issue :)  I have been setting my base using the Hourglass Ambient Lighting powder in Diffused Light.

CHEEKS..//
Bronzer and Blush has been the Benefit Cheek Parade Palette I have been loving using a mix of Hoola and Hoola Lite, it is so perfect for my pale skin. I have also given into the Galifornia hype. It really is perfect on, so so beautiful. I have also been reaching for Cliniques chubby cheek stick in Rhubarb - it is so easy to apply! :)

For Bronzer I have been loving the new Clarins Bronzer. It smells incredible, and I love how warm the tone it, yet it doesn't make me feel orange. Such a stunning shade, and this will last me forever and a day! :)

Highlighter! I cannot believe I forgot to put a highlighter in my picture. Actually ashamed of myself here. It's one of my favourite bits too! :( I am still using Becca Champagne Pop religiously, I love it - and I am so determined to hit pan on it :)

Eyes..//
I have been loving the Too Faced Sweet Peach palette again. I find I go through phases of this one, and right now I cannot get enough of it. Especially the shade Bellini, it is the perfect Friend to MAC Melon too, which is also stunning packed on all over the lid using setting spray. I love this look, so so stunning.

For Eyeliner I have been using the BarryM Eye Define one, and I must admit I do really like it - It isn't as good as the Seventeen one though! For mascara I am never too fussy, but I have been using the Loreal Baby Roll - its nice, but not as good as the lash sensational.

Brows I am still using the Benefit Precisely My Brow Pencil, quick, easy, and straightforward to use. The packaging on this is just complete goals, I love it.

Lips..//
A girl always needs a Charlotte Tilbury lipstick, and for me right now that shade is Charlotte Tilbury Sexy Sienna- it is so nice, the perfect nudey coral shade. It's stunning. Beautiful. I have also been reaching for a more pink lip, either Urban Decay Rush, or Bobbi Brown Sandwash Pink, which is the perfect pink for me - not overly pink.. but stunning on.

For setting it all I am still using the Gerard Cosmetics Slay All Day.

  17. The Clarins bronzer is gorgeous, I'm curious about the scent now! In the summer I tend to wear very little makeup, especially since it can get really warm in France. Being in the US at the moment, my only makeup essentials are concealer, powder and mascara!
