Dr Botanicals Moroccan Rose Facial Oil & Moisturiser*

Skincare for me is something I am really trying to get behind this year.. for 25 years perviously I have neglected my face, and with my love of makeup, rubbish weather... it really has taken its tole on my skin.

So this year I have been making a real effort to remember to use moisturisers and oils which will help my skin, and I must say - I have tried a lot of different things, testing out which bits work best for my combo skin...

So when Dr Botanicals contacted me I was thrilled to try something new, they very kindly sent me both the oil and the moisturiser from their range, and here is the results....

So, on first application of the moisturiser I was not 100%. It seemed thick and I had a horrible feeling (from past experience) I was going to break out... BUT surprisingly my skin drank it up. When you apply this, it feels thick, really thick, and moisturising... hydrating. Almost mask like. Then you leave it for 10-15 minutes and your skin isn't sticky or creamy.. just incredibly soft and feeling outright incredible... Really cannot get enough of this one. The process of applying it is an absolute joy - something I look forward to every time I reach for it (which tends to be daily - yup I just cannot use anything else with this sitting in my cabinet)

With the oil the results were the same. I wouldn't even describe the texture of this as oily.. but more water like, it soaks in, leaving your face soft and smooth, but no oily face after... the formula is surprising again, and just really good at keeping your skin hydrated and fresh.

^ this picture was taken of them when they arrived, and they are missing a lot from them now. After 3 weeks of using this duo I can honestly say I will be crushed when they meet their end. To the point I may just have to purchase them myself. And that is a bold statement considering I have never gone back and used the same moisturiser twice - I tend to want to try something new. But this is a game changer... Try them out, trust me - your skin will thank me for it.

If you would like to see them both in action give me a follow on Snapchat (MakeErinOver), where I apply them and show the effects... it really is fab.

If you would like to know the ingredients check out the links below, I suck at all the tech, up until this point all I know is "ooooh makes my face feel so nice" I do know Dr Botanicals is an all natural vegan brand, which is also UK based.. cannot get better than that! Check out their website for more information.

You can pick the Moisturiser up here for £90.71

And the Oil up here for £66.72 BUT if you use the code "Blogger16" it will take the price down to £24.99, how good is that?! Total Bargain if you ask me :)

*both of these were sent to me free of charge, but the opinions and words are both my own.

I would LOVE it if you could follow me on Bloglovin' (I follow back too)
