The Best Bronzers & Contour For Pale Skin + Swatches

Finding a contour shade and a bronzer shade when you are pale is near impossible, there is a very fine line between looking sun kissed, and looking like an oompa loompa. I'm sure we have all had those moments were we have looked in a mirror and thought *OMG* its usually at 3am in a club - but still... with these the chances of that happening are dramatically reduced.

I love the medium cocoa powder in this palette, it is the perfect cool toned bronzer for fairer skin, the one downside is that the light shade is fab, but the darker one and the highlight do go unused for me. But I do believe the Milk Chocolate Bronzer is the same - so that may be a better option :)

I am SO impressed with this little gem of a find, it is the perfect shade for us pale girls, and check that tiny price tag. I LOVE it, so good. Definitely worth grabbing the next time in store :)

I LOVE this palette, this is what I reach for daily, and as you can see pan has been hit on the most used shade. (Although this has made me want to try the ABH cream contour kit) I just find it blends in effortlessly. The one downside I would say is the pans are not changeable, so some are barely used, others are almost done (and that for some reason upsets me)

This is definitely not a contour shade, but it is thee most perfect bronzer, which will not make you orange in the slightest, and it just blends in perfectly. I love the finish of this - it will have you glowing like you actually have a tan - well worth the £36.00 for the amount of product too!

This one would be the one I suggest to get the feel of cream bronzers, a very close dupe to the Chanel! Isn't available online for some reason - but is still in stores!

Let me know which contour and bronzers you use? Have you tried the Kevin Aucoin? (it's next on my wishlist) Let me know in the comments below :)

  4. I find a lot of bronzers to look muddy on my skin so I tend to stay away. I'm a pretty pale yellow, so I like cooler browns to even it out. I think warm tones look too orange on my skin. I do enjoy the Benefit Hoola bronzer, but honestly, I just use a combination of Urban Decay Naked 2 and Faint from the Naked Basics palette whenever I put makeup on. Makeup Obsessed Light Contour looks ideal for me! I don't know if we can get that brand over here though.

  5. I just don't know how to work with cream products and I wish I did. The sleek contouring palette looks great. Maybe I should start to learn on something cheaper than ABH. I love milk chocolate bronzer as well. :)

  6. I can never understand these massive contour palette when in all likeliness you will use two out of six shades unless you often do other people's make up! I'd hate having to hit pan on the one shade I liked to have to then throw the whole thing out to buy a new one! Love the two faced and make up obsessed shades, they're the perfect ashy tones for me.
