BLOGMAS: How To Apply (And Remove) Glitter Nails Without Fuss

If you are anything like me you will look at glitter polish and think *oooooo so pretty* then hate the applying and removing so much you decide not to bother? Well here is how to apply it opaque - then remove it with zero fuss of hassle.

What you will need:
Miss Sporty Peel Off  £2.29
Barry M Plumpy Topcoat  £2.99
Make Up Sponges £3.69

This method does take a little longer, but I promise it works! What I will say is you will actually manage to finish a nail varnish this way, it uses a lot of product, but the finish is so worth it.

Step 1: Paint on a heavy coat of the Peel Nail varnish, this makes removing a dream. You'll want to paint this on and leave it to dry, it turns clear when dried. Once you have done your nails put a second layer around your nail, but don't let it touch the nail.. this means any excess from the sponge you can now peel off, without removing what is on your nail.

Step 2: Paint the glitter polish onto to sponge, make it thick, the sponge will then absorb the clear liquid leaving the glitter on the sponge.

Step 3: Press the sponge onto your nail, the glitter will stick to your nail and should look pretty opaque.

Step 4: Use a thick topcoat to set and finish - it will need this after removing the moisture with the sponge.

Step 5: Tidy up the excess around the Nails.

To Remove: Pick/Peel off. It really is so easy. This has been a game changer for me and glitter nails, because I hate the feeling of removing them with cotton pads.. YUCK! :)

  3. I've been wary of using peeling polishes since I'm afraid that it'll come off too fast. But I think it's worth it with glitter polishes since they're so difficult to remove! Thanks for the tip :)

  8. I'm always curious to hear about new methods to remove glitter nail polish - it is such a pain! This method does seem to take longer than your usual manicure, but if it works, it's totally worth it. I'll have to try it out, thanks for sharing!
