The Highlighter Challenge!

I usually avoid challenges, but when highlighters and Jeffree Star are included, i'm up for it. So here is my interpretation of the latest highlighter challenge, but in blog post form (as no one needs to hear my voice on YouTube haha)

So here is my completed look, I was feeling rather GLOWY, bronze goddess much. I am so ready for this to become a thing, like I would love us all to go out like this for a day, and blind everyone we came into contact with!

Now, onto the products used:

BASE.
I used this Seventeen Wow Liquid Highlighter (Post Here) as a base as it can also be used as a primer, so it just made my skin glow all over. I then used the No7 Bronzing Highlighter Stick as a contour. It has me wanting to use this as a contour all the time... maybe not... maybe a little.
For Blush I opted for NYX Narcissistic. I then opted for The Balm Mary Lou as a step one highlight on the usual areas, cheekbones, nose, lip.

EYES.
Eyes were harder, as I really wanted them to stand out. So I decided to use a loose glitter powder. Barry M Desert Bronze was the one I went for. Shimmery and perfect for this look. I then used Barry M Dazzle Dust "27" for my inner corners and down under my eye. It just GLOWS.

LIPS & SETTING POWDER.
Lips were harder to do, so I decided to use a base layer of Jeffree Star's I'm nude to begin with, I then used Soap & Glory's Glow All Out powder all over the lip (I know, bad, not a lip product, but Meh!) I then took a little ok A LOT of Jeffree Star's Ice Cold (post here) all down my nose, cupids bow, cheekbones, brow bones, forehead, under eye. Basically everywhere.  DONE. GLOWWWWW.

So whats your thoughts on the latest challenge? Are you going to be doing it? Also let me know your favourite highlighter in the comments below :)

I would LOVE it if you could follow me on Bloglovin' (I follow back too)

  4. Love this! I have a very light hand when it comes to highlighters but I have been loving the CT highlighter from the instant palette which I think is the same as her bronze and glow one!

  8. Is it weird that I don't exactly see this as a bad look?! ahaha. My favourite highlighter at the moment is definitely Hourglass Iridescent Glow, but I'll take anything bright and glittery.
